In the middle of April I took out a subscription to the comic (I know I know), with an offer of a CNP Professional cycling pack. I was told this would take up to a month to arrive, and when it did on the 17th May six energy gels, three caffine gels, and six protein bars had a best before date of April 2011.

I sent a email to the comic straight away, and when I hadn’t heard anything on the 20th I sent them another one. After hearing nothing a few days later I contacted CNP directly to see if they had supplied them, or if they had gone through a third party. The next day I had a reply from CNP confirming that they had sent them to a third party with a decent date on them at the time of despatch.

The guy at CNP promised to sort this out for me, but said it may take a few weeks as he was on holiday in the States until 20th June.
After a few emails to him to let him know about the nine gels and six bars I gave him my address, two days later ten energy gels, ten caffine gels, six protein bars, and twelve energy bars arrived at my front door (there was also an offer to meet up with me and drop them off as he didn’t live far from me).

So thanks to Michael at CNP Professional for the great service, it was much more than I was expecting and very welcome.

As for the comic, I received a reply to my second email that I sent on the 20th, it came on the 31st, and this is the copy and paste of it, “Sorry for the delay in reply. Your message was passed onto Customer Care and I can only imagine they are dealing with your request.” I’ve still not heard from them yet, and have given up any hope of doing so.
