Suspension forks and clipless pedals were excellent quality and possessed by the few.
One aspired to equipping one's bike with Shimano Deore DX!
The driving test was only 35 minutes and you didn't have to do any theory tests.
A clapped-out Ford Fiesta Mk1 was THE car of choice for the teenage hooligan!
