Inner tubes

How long should I be able to store inner tubes before the rubber degrades? Just put a new inner tube on and it burst along the seam as if there was a weakness.

I reckon they are about 3-4 years old.

Depends really..... 3-4 years is quite old.

is Kenda tube OK?

Most bike shop sells them but I have seen no review of it

Kenda tubes are perfectly fine.

There are no sell by dates on tubes, the ones in my cruiser are eight years old and still hold air. Reckon your tube had a split when you put it away.
