Watching it tonight. The 30 seconds I caught looked impressively mental!

I've just watched it. Mental with a human touch. As much credit must go to the documentary makers for the sensitive way that they portrayed their subjects as it does to the subjects themselves. There was so much scope to show them as idiots and they come out as heroes.

Grado is a legend!

Pure joy - it was life affirming. It's the first time that I've not pressed pause on anything longer than half an hour.

Agree 100%, first time I've sat through a programme for years that did not portray "different" as being in someway worthy of derision. And as you say, the credit for this must be given to the documentary makers.

Also, I had no idea how big a name Colt Cabana was within the wrestling world until after the programme ended - my elder daughter loves wrestling (and is a huge fan of Cabana's main rival/friend CM Punk, which again I only learned about after the programme as I had no idea she liked wrestling but from our discussion it's quite clear she loves it, and even said to me "did you really have no idea who CM Punk was? I've got loads of t-shirts with his name on them...") and was amazed when she watched the programme on my recommendation; she got onto her friends straight away via social media and they have been raving about the programme ever since. I've even noticed their new "greeting" is now "It's yersel"

So in a way the programme has allowed me some insight into my elder daughter's life that I had no idea about as she spends most of her time now away from home and generally communicates by way of a series of grunts and low-level white noise before going to her room and shutting me out of her life.

the banger docu is ok, they do take themselves rather seriously and without a lot of self awareness.
