Insomnia strikes

Alcohol gives you a "fake" sleep so you wake up feeling like you haven't slept properly.
You can only have a proper sleep if the bedclothes have been ironed. And what of any dreams incurred during a 'fake' sleep - do they not count?

rich p, MontyVeda, threepillowsmcginty, theclaud, CounterpaneofGold and I'm sure many others are keen to test this theory of fake sleep. Could you provide the materials necessary to undertake this experiment, please? Guinea pigs...every last one orders.

I've lived with insomnia pretty much all my life... even as a kid I can remember being wide awake while the rest of the household slept on. Sometimes debilitating, after a few really wakeful nights, but I'm mostly used to it.

Yep me as well, on average 2-3 hours every night to get to sleep , sometimes after really hard exercise I get zero sleep, I used to play 5 asides on Sunday night and would go to work Monday with no sleep:wacko:

The longest I have went is over 40 hours with no sleep
