Just trying here on the (probably) vain hope that someone has used the support chat feature in Meta Verified on the Instagram app.
Long story, but my personal FB account was summarily disabled/blocked by FB for supposed Community Standards violations ("due to inauthentic behaviour or multiple violations of our advertising rules affecting professional elements".) Weirdly, I can still post via Instagram to my French FB Page that has 5.7k followers and hundreds of thousands of hits per (normal) month, but I can't even see the page, as my IP must be blocked by FB's 'checkpoint'. And I certainly can't reply to any comments. Frustrating, to say the least.
I'm caught in a Kafka-esque situation of having to 'complete the process to authenticate' my FB account, according to an email, but I can't get into it because of the checkpoint that says I've already made the appeal. Anyway, I read that you could at least contact FB support if you paid for Meta Verified via Instagram, but other than one session where it eventually worked (but basically they said 'to be patient'), the subsequent follow up is impossible, as the support chat says "User not authenticated". There's obviously a bug in there somewhere, either by Meta-doesn't-care or deliberately making it had to contact them.
Just wondering if anyone has come up against this and found any workarounds... I'm trying on Reddit too, as it's obviously not just me that's having the problem.
