Which is the most westerly state of the 49 United States on the North American Continent?


Which is the most easterly state of the 49 United States on the North American Continent?

Alaska.

Its also the most Northerley too.

And if its wrong, Wiki's wrong not me, because I have not the foggiest and don't care anyway.

Without Wiki, I would say Alaska to the west and Maine to the east?

Without Wiki, that's the way forward. You'd have to be a bit of a clunge-faced rat-catcher to have to use that and then come on all smarty arsed with the answer(s).

I almost wrote Rhode Island instead of Maine. Looked on google just now, and their map shows Maine to be most easterly. Although, I'd prefer to have a compass direction to line it up to be sure.

Well if you travelled due south of Glasgow, which English county would be the first you entered?

Vernon got it right (unassisted). The answer to both is the same; Alaska!
