I like the way some stations are on the internet as well as on the airwaves, especially where radio reception is poor. Not all have a public internet presence though. I used to like listening to American football games on AFN (American Forces Network) - best reception was in the winter months after dark as it was a Medium Wave (AM) signal from Germany - and as far as I know, that's still the only way to get it here in the UK.

It plays only unsigned acts who record their own material at home. Covers a range of genres. It includes some excellent songs. performances and recordings ...and some less so. Mine are of course included in the former

bought an internet wireless at the weekend, and a wireless router thingie - which is required for the internet radio. Tis great, can listen to podcasts/listen again stuff and radio stations from all over. No problems with reception either unlike DAB.

yep, still is, or at least was on monday. a great station, i've heard loads of great stuff that i didn't catch first time around which now adorn the ipod.
