Hello All
I have approached Shaun, your webmaster, to ask if it's OK to post this question and he has given me permission. So - hello!
We offer accommodation in the French Alps, primarily to the winter ski
market, but would like to open up our programme in the summer. I've
handled a few enquiries for ski clients who have come to me again in the summer, having entered cycling events in the Alps (Marmotte, Megavalanche) and am currently doing one for the Etape next July.
We are looking into the possibility of organising specialist Cycling
Weeks, with guides if needed, maps and routes, transport for cycles
etc. This wouldn't necessarily be for racing, as the locations are very good for more social cycling. The accommodation would be in self-catered or catered chalets and apartments, very comfortable, some with hot tubs etc. The resorts I'm thinking of are close to major airports such as Geneva and Chambery, have easy transfers but can also be driven to within 8-10 hours of the Channel Ports.
I have asked if I can post this message in order to ask for opinions of committed cyclists? Might these trips be of interest? Is it worthwhile my liaising with my owners to organise a week as a trial perhaps?
If anyone wants to know more, do feel free to PM me.
I'm grateful for your input and would value your opinions
With thanks
Anne
