Inverness - Ullapool

Folks, I have ridden this route a number of times on Sundays, but not recently and before the Sunday ferry service started from Ullapool. Ferries now run out to the Hebrides on a Sunday. My question is what is the motor traffic like on this route since the ferry service has begun? I will ride from Inverness, follow the NCN route by the Firth where it's sensible for a bit then pop onto the A835. I anticipate that there will be peletons of motors along here coordinating with the ferry times. Helpful responses welcomed, thank you.

I can't see the Sunday ferry being exceptionally busy except at the end of the music festival in July. The festival runs 11th to 14th July so the ferry is likely to be rammed on Sunday 16th.

Having ridden that route twice in the last few years mid-week, I did not find the traffic much of a problem until Garve through to Maybank where I turned onto the A832 for Muir of Ord where once again the traffic eased, I then took the little road alongside Beauly Firth
