ipod troubles

I am having a problem with a recently accuired ipod,. when i plug it into a usb port my pc then loses its wireless internet connection, ive tried different ports same thing happens..help ...please......

Don't plug it into your USB port.

I think some iPods have the ability to act as personal Wi-Fi hotspots. Could this feature be interfering with your pc Wi-Fi?

If it's a newer iPod it should be able to communicate with your PC wirelessly instead of plugging it in. What iPod is it?
That might work instead of plugging it in.

I haven't been able to use itunes for about 18 months. Some files have gone missing and no matter what I do it won't play ball. Tried removing it entirely, and then reinstalling but it still won't work.

Apple is so over rated.

Have you tried running a reset on it? get all the settings back to default. worth a try
