…to begin the countdown to my holiday?

Not been on a holiday of any sort for 5 years (and that was wedding & honeymoon) and I'm quite looking forward to it. First time our little girl will have been on holiday too and we've hired a cottage on Anglesey, little place called Bull Bay. First time I've been to Anglesey other than to go to Hollyhead and don't know too much about it, any one been before and can recommend thing to do?

Anglesey is called the garden of N.Wales as it is very flat compared to main land.
My daughter lives on Anglesey.
You can go and see the light house near Hollyhead, Treaddr Bay ( beautiful setting by the sea) Beaumaris castle and Jail or cross to the main land on Britannia bridge to Caernarfon Castle.
Go to the Tourist Office in Caernarfon, they are very helpfull ( my daughter works there).
You must go to Snowdonia mountain in LLanberis and up to Snowdon on the little train ( expensive though) or you can walk to the top, about 1.5 hours walk. Beautiful views if weather is right.
In Llanberis, you can also visit the Hydraulic power station inside the mountain (used to be an ammunition factory during the war)
From LLanberis, take the road to Bwts-y Coed, very scenic.
Really, there are loads of things to see, too many to explain on here.
Good luck and I guarantee you will have a smashing holiday if the weather is right.

RAF V alley sometimes hosts the Red Arrows so you might be treated to some air display rehearsals.

There's Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch station.

Thanks for the replies, sounds like it could be a busy holiday, just hope the weather's good.

My only other experience of holidaying in Wales was about 22 years or so ago, took my dad a good hour in the pouring rain to sort out the trailer tent we had borrowed. We then had to take my sister to the docs, turned out she had mumps. Back to the campsite, took down the trailer tent and back off home. 3 hours, one of the shortest holidays ever!
