Is it just me, or is this pictrure of Chris Evans cosying up to Moira Stewart rather creepy?

Chris Evans does look a bit Evans Scissorhands in the pic though .

Moira Stewart is cool. Apparently CE stipulated that he wanted Moira Stewart and only MS to read the news on his show as he wasn't happy that she had been sidelined by the Beeb. Good on him. Now he's over his mid life crisis, he is allegedly a pretty good guy to work for and with, sometimes spoiling his colleagues and crew rotten.

I think Evan's is due a second chance - in his day(pre-flip out) he was a very good presenter.

Was she sidelined because she has such a terrible voice or was there a trivial reason too;)
I find her delivery as awful as Robert Peston's.
No he's not. He's an engaging, entertaining and really pretty damn sharp operator who went off the rails for a bit driven by an ego understandably run amok when all those millions went to his head, who (unusually) has conceded that he was a prat and cleaned up his act. I've no idea whether Moira's bright or not. She talks posh.
I am living in today not the past.
I did used to like him but mainly on his early TV (his style works better on TV than radio).
Engaging and Entertaning he may be to you but I am simply reading the body language of the photo. It clearly shows him trying to be dominant and putting Moira in an uncomfortable situation. This I think speaks volumes about him.
I listened to his show last time about six months ago and he has his own little crowd of lackys around him - be this Johnny who does sport, The Fox or the traffic girl. He constantly puts them down and wants the last word. Ross had a similar thing with some bloke called Andy who was on his TV show when it first came out then was just on the radio show.

Up to you if you like someone who acts like that. Personally it has made me dislike him.

And what's that strange thing she's wearing? A witch's hat?

It looks like a bonce mounted speaker so she can broadcast Radio Chris wherever she goes.

"Evans above!"

I tried it for five minutes today.

Johnny and Moira are made to each read an interesting story* and then the ginger control freak for some unknown reason sits in judgement and decides which is the better of the two stories and catty comments are made to the lacky who is judged to have the not so good story.
Can anyone see how the reading of trivia is enhanced by Evans deciding if one story is better than the other?

* One story was that twins took their driving test on the same day and both happened to pass. Terry would have great amusement in pointing out that coincidences with twins is only a story if neither know that the other is doing the same thing. Twins usually do many things together, that in itself is not a story.

Very attractive, and has a very sexy voice. So whilst her talents shalln't be wasted on the radio, she would be best suited headlining the 6 o'clock News slot! Bloody BBC will probably have Graham Norton doing that instead, or another of their vacuous groomed starlets.

I admit it!

I do feel rather bereaved this week.

Give Chris a chance?

I thought he was pretty good for the drive time slot and so am tuning in for part of his morning show on the way in to work.

Never got in to TW - Mrs BH is a fan of Heart, so we tended to listen to that.

Having said that the rhymes / poems sent in "the listener" were great
