Getting old but not past it

I was checking the rings on my Specialized Allez tonight and was very surprised to see that some of the gears were badly worn on the top. The bike is less than 3 months and I am careful not to cross the chain although I have done it a few times. The bike is due for its first free service shortly so should I mention it? It has done about 250 miles so far.

At three months unless you have been really brutal with it (250 miles on the beech or something) the teeth won't be worn, some of them will be designed differently to aid shifting. There's no harm in mentioning it though if you are in doubt IMO.
