Ok here goes I currently have a Boardman hybrid with the following spec
Chainset Truvativ Touro compact 50x36T
Front Derailleur Shimano R440
Rear Derailleur SRAM X5
Shifters SRAM X5
Cassette SRAM PG950 11-32
Looking around I have seen a Fuji Team reduced with
Shimano 105 5700 10speed shifters / Shimano 105 5700 Band-on front mech / Shimano 105 5700 10-speed rear mech / FSA Gossamer Pro chainset 34/50 tooth Chainrings / Shimano 105 5700 11-28 tooth cassette / 20 gears
Would I notice much difference in the bikes.
I use the bike to communte about 5mile each way per day a cpl times a week and also go on National Cycle routes/bridleways etc for upto 30mile rides at the weekend but would assume that the bike would not be that great for the bridleways etc . I trundle along at circa 10mph and can find hills a tad difficult .....then again maybe my goes against me im 54
Any advice without being too techincal appreciated
