I wear socks indoors - they're my mobile carpet - but if I have to go outside I put on a pair of sandals if it isn't cold. This is how I am shod right now. I wish I could say I didn't care about this sock and sandal taboo (being beyond cool, rather than cool or uncool) but I can say I don't understand it.

I keep a pair of sandals by the back door as they're easy to pop on for taking out the rubbish and stuff. Went to put the bins out the other night and one sandal wasn't there so I ended up with one foot shod with a sock and sandal and one with sock and training shoe, it wasn't a good look.
