What with discussions on the BBC and the Olympics? Where's your Wittgenstein, your Plato, your Ronaldo?

I mean like it's SOooooo, you know, whatever now.

Shouldn't this be 'Politics and Life'??

When you have someone like Simon CC, who's culture extends to Talksport, the Sun and Sky and that he hijacks just about every thread with the same subjects, regardless of what the OP is about, then yes, it will dumb down.

What does your culture 'extend' to?

Didn't you hear ComedyPilot? CycleChat Café is the new Politics and Life. It's a post modern rhetorical irony.

Sod it. If politics and life is being bandied around the cafe, I'm off to Politics and Life to start a "Demi Moore naked on BBC2 NOW" thread.

There's nothing ironic about Demi Moore naked...unless there's such a thing as blatant irony, or ironic blatency. Lord. who knows? 'Ironic' is used too often these days. And sometimes to excuse a lazy, ill-thought action or remark. I don't know what it means, you figure it out.

Anyway, back to Demi Moore in the buff... as Denis Penis once asked of her "if the money was right, and the role demanded it, would you keep your clothes on?"

Please don't end your sentences with a preposition, there's a good chap.

I didn't. I ended it with full stop just like Miss Webster taught me to do in infants school. And I started it with a capital letter.
