Is this bike too small for my son?

He is nearly 14 years old and 166 CMS.

He wants to buy this bike but sounds way too small. He explained that it's supposed to be small. He likes riding MTB trails in the park with little jumps and stuff.

I have no clue about this flavour of cycling. Also, is it a good bike?

Thanks a lot
At 166cm he's basically a below average adult height. So a 'small' adult frame would be appropriate. In MTB terms, I believe that means 650c wheels and 40-42cm frame.

What you linked is, in my opinion, waaaay to small. Would suit an 8-9 year old.

Yes, a dirt jump bike is what he wants. Those pictures terrify me though. It's just knowing about the size but the article says one size fits all but then the seller in that listing says his kids outgrew it. Guess this type of bike doesn't fit the usual rules.
