I did try contacting the maker which he replied saying he's just finished one batch and not going to be making any more just yet.

No it is not, quite old these days.
The designshine is much brighter.
I have two 400R's, personally well worth the money.

I visited the designshine and it seems there isn't an official way to purchase except for contacting the owner.

I know, you have to contact the owner/maker and he puts you on a waiting list. Since he makes them himself it is a long wait, I have been on the waiting list for over six months already.
