Is this the gaudiest paint job on a bike??

Almost every day on my commute I see a guy riding a completely hi-vis green bike.. And it's not even a respray!

Perhaps they keep having their nice looking bikes nicked so thought the only way to counter it was get something that no one would want to?

I'd be more concerned about the spindly-ness of it. I t looks like it would fall apart in a strong breeze

At 15kg it's clearly not 'spindly'

By a quirk of Deptford fate, I just saw the same model bike unlocked outside the chemist's at the end of the High Street. Not as bright as I thought it would be. I then saw a handsome Cannondale Synapse unlocked outside the bookie's. Simple black with white lettering, it caught my eye much more than the other one, but I didn't want to spend too much time looking at it....
