How old is that Thom? Interested as I have one which I'll be selling on in 6 months time. Ours is about 5 years old I guess.

Ah yes, so very good advice @summerdays & Mr P and I have decided to take my business away from ebay.

@400bhp - it turns out that this is the bike I purchased from @User so he might have a better idea - maybe 4 or 5 years old? Not used loads by my kids though, they've only just got into 10 mile+ rides.

I've always known the second hand values were very good, but looking at that Facebook site I'm really surprised about how high they are for bikes that are clearly 4+ year's old. (you can get an idea of the age by the seat style)

I think used values have gone up as the "New" price has gone up.

When I sold mine to my sister, she asked for a sibling discount, so I linked her to an identical one on eBay that had sold that week for £100 more than I was asking, which was the same as I had paid for mine. We were using the money to fund the next bike and been about to put it on eBay ourselves.
