Yes.

One colleague after sampling a range of cycling activities on bikes loaned by me, settled for downhill racing.
One colleague returned to cycle touring after listening to my exploits for a couple of years.
Two colleagues bought hybrids and get out regularly.
A pal in Pocklington has dragged out her unused mountain bike and can be found pottering around East Yorkshire two or three times a week.
Another colleague after borrowing my mountain bike took up MTB then road cycling.
An ex colleague took up cycling on a tourer/hybrid that I sold to him and came with me cycle touring from Passau to Budapest last year.

Sometimes even clever humans don't make the connection. For a year I drove around in an empty car with my bike displayed like a trophy on the roof; then one day I realsied it would be considerably safer inside my empty car. When I lived in Paris I used to drive to work every day, 2 kms along glorious leafy boulevards, which used to take me 20 minutes or longer because I had to cross then re-cross the Avenue Charles de Gaulle to reach the underground parking. It never crossed my mind to get a bicycle, which would have taken 5 minutes. Maybe your other nine colleagues hadn't even though about cycling until they saw you doing it so successfully?

I'm regularly talking about my cycling exploits on my days off and have advertised and set several people up on the cyclescheme with work. If anyone asks personnel about c2w they generally get pointed in my direction.^_^

Further to my list posted above. I called in to see my pal in Pocklington and our mutual friend has returned to cycling bolstered by my pal's accounts on my cycling exploits and her own enjoyment of being out and about East Yorks. I let him have a go on the Woodrup and he came back with a big grin on his face vowing to upgrade his creaky twenty year old MTB bike for something a bit smoother than his bike and a lot less expensive than the Woodrup.

I'm adding him to the list.
