Very true, but about twice what I usually pay. An additional £100 doesn’t go far on bits and bobs to restore them, and all done they’re not worth much more than £150-£175

I would say its a Granada, one of the photos of the crossbar shows the remains of the decal and you can make out a G and an a.

No, but I was also idly wondering exactly what it was, even though it's too small for me. That frame is 531 main tubes only. Looks very similar to my tourer-derived Raleigh Gemini 531 hybrid frame, apart from the cantis. A mid-80's Royal like mine is 531 main tubes & forks, and the later ones are full 531ST. I expect it would still ride well though, if it fits OK.

Its an old thread but it has the same paint job as my Granada, although mine is something of a Triggers brush
