It Works Doesn't It?

Since returning to cycling after 8 years off due to illness my main aims were,
Weight loss.
Fitness levels.
I am more than pleased that since the 20th August I have lost 16lbs (7.27kilos)
and my cardio and strength are vastly improved. Before now my Oncologist was very concerned about any weight loss but I have been given the go ahead to go for it!
How easy is it to get the old bike out,spend a few quid and some time refurbing it.
Buy some clothing from Lidl/Aldi/Decathlon and get out there and burn it off.
The other big advantage is my knees are not giving me gip running up and down the stairs in the three floored warehouse I work in.
Result.^_^
I give my full support to all who are cycling to get fit, go for it.:thumbsup:

Thats some going fella. I've only been on my bike since 01st Sept. I so wished I'd recorded my start weight.

I don't seem to be able to do the weight loss thing - still way too heavy, but cycling has lowered my blood pressure and seriously increased my fitness levels :smile:
