So yesterday I shaved em', and it was fine. It was rushed and it wasn't the best of jobs so I shaved them again, being a bit more careful and they feel/look good (to me anyway :eek:).

There's one problem though, they're reaaaally itchy. Is there anything you can do to stop the itching? Is it normal to have itchy legs? Help, it's driving me insane! :cursing:

oh god my legs feel so smooth.

Did you do the whole lot, or just from the bottom of your shorts? The thighs are the worst part for me... when the hairs grow back it's agony. Especially if you shiver or get goose bumps. The sharp ends just stab into your skin... it's an unpleasant sensation!
You'll need to exfoliate otherwise you'll get ingrowing hairs. It sounds very girly, but hey... you're the one who shaved your legs!

OK, here goes - since I've started to this year;

1. Shave down, with the grain, not up. Like numbnuts I use SWMBO's Gillette Venus razor
2. Use a lubricant, such as shaving gel or conditioner
3. Exfoliate
4. Use a moisturiser.

Do not, under any circumstances, try to pluck them out with tweezers :blush: - ingrown hairs are the result

Foolishly I let a past girlfriend epilate (sp?) my back, wow I imagine it had the same effect as plucking. Holy cow I was covered in big red itchy lumps for ages. A lesson learned indeed!
