.ITM files what software do I need to view them?

Hi

Someone emailed me their cycle route, they've sent it as a .itm file and I'm struggling to find info on what it is and what software I can use to open and view it.

any ideas?

There is a superb program called GPSBabel

It can usually convert any mapping file to any other mapping file!

Convert to *.GPX and upload into any one the on line mapping sites

Thanks for the link looks to be a useful utility.

It has recognised the file and (it says) successfully converted it to gpx, but if I load it into Map_My_Ride it says its a 0.0mile route in Valdagno, Italy - clearly wrong

So could be a conversion issue or I've been sent a corrupt file, I won't be able contact him until later in the week though.
