Out running this morning and for the first time since September, I had sweat dripping into my eyes. I think I can ditch the underlayer now.

Im still debating whether to ditch the base layer, its still down as much as -7c when i ride in to work but was a pleasing 11c yesterday afternoon on the way home! Maybe next week

I've just got my shorts out of storage in readiness:biggrin:
Trouble with working shifts is the temperature is totally different on way in to way home so always have to adapt clothing to suit both ways.

It was in the minus figures yesterday morning as I rode to work at 6am; by 4pm the sun had been shining all day and I was dripping with sweat when I got home. Bib longs, thick gloves, a skull-cap & a thick top plus hi-viz waistcoat aren't the best for riding in mild to warm weather.

Mean to bring in my shorts & CC top plus arm-warmers for the ride home tonight and forgot. Another sweaty ride ahead tonight then!

Barnet,
I have seen a couple of loons out and about in shorts and short sleeved tops this week. Rather them than me.
