All the newspapers in Singapore are run by the government. You essentialy get exactly the same articles written in slightly differing styles.

Top debates in the letters pages this month have included:

• abject horror at suggestions that legislation be passed to grant live-in domestic workers one day off per week
• demands that Singaporean universities do not let in foreign students or grant scholarships to foreign students
