As my first year of communting by bike, starting in June, now beginning to feel the cold !

Leg warmers and gloves are out, and I don't even drink to and from work (17 m each way) anymore as I don't get hot enough to sweat !

Some mornings I sit at work, and de frost

I suppose as it gets darker it gonna get colder ...

Beats the horse sh*t that softens the tarmac in North Lincolnshire...

It's colder but not cold enough for leggings yet, depending on whether or not you shave your legs.

What!!!.............

Crikey you're a wuss. What you gonna do when it's 3C or even -5C or
-8C? You is going to shiver big time and get hypofermia. I find it still quite warm although not hot the weather has definitely turned autumnal. But full gloves and leggins............maybe you like dressing up .

I bet you'll be telling us next you've got nice fur lined slippers/boots under your desk ;).

What kind of gear are you wearing? A Good, light, windproof, breathable shell is good if you are feeling the chill, you aren't doing badly if you have stuck it out this long on your first few months of commuting.
When you get through winter you'll think this is good weather. ;)
You can dress accordingly for all weather on a bike.....except a head on wind....that is still going to be hard work! ;-)

I've got my full finger gloves out for the mornings and the trouser length has gone from shorts to 3/4 trousers so far. Haven't yet got to the coat level yet but then I have a gillet to prevent the wind cooling me too much. However I feel the changes are not far away now.

I recommend a buff - really versatile, hat/neck warmer etc as part of your winter kit.

A bit chilly in here, granted, but I think I prefer it that way. Much easier to breathe than in the heat.

Oh dear! I'm already into my thermals and long sleeves first thing! I did think this morning that I'm going to suffer when the weather really does change. I am heading out at 5am though.

My ride home is just short sleeve t-shirt and gillet with cycling shorts so I'm not a total wimp!

at the time i get up theres frost on the cars at the moment. so i'm freezing my balls off for the first 2 miles, but after that i'm nice and warm  so i know there is no point putting any more layers on (despite the temptation) because i know i will over heat.

The knees were a bit on the chilly side at 6 this morning, might be coming to end of the shorts season for that time of the day but the sun's up and it's toasty warm on a bike by 7.
