It's the first official BBQ weekend of the year, so what's on yours?

We spent 3 hours trying to assemble a BBQ we bought at the tail-end of last year, and then decided to put some sausages under the grill. I am quite proud that I managed to get sausages at 5p.m.

Last minute decision to have one so just some sausages and veggie kebabs .... washed down with Pimms.... and I went inside and missed the moment the canvas seat ripped and dumped Mr Summerdays on the ground.

Pork and Leek sausages for breakfast - didn't cook all of them last night as the kids don't like fancy ones. They were delicious !

That went very well last night. Todays' project (if I can get hold of some smoking sawdust is to convert the BBQ into a cold smoker:

I've just seen on the news that the air quality in Leicestershire is very poor today......is that anything to do with you TVC?

Cheeky bugger, are you saying I drink too much Guiness and eat too many scotch eggs?

Came close to having a barbecued cat yesterday. Too greedy for her own good.
That's one of her lives gone I reckon.
