As a preface I think it's fair to mention that, apart from my love of the Hammond Organ (and the Vibraphone), that I like Sarah Vaughan, Jazz in general, musical theatre and I'm OK with a certain amount of Opera.....

So here goes:

Cricket, a waste of a good day.
Golf, a waste of at least half a good day and association with so many golfing bores.
Football, almost everything about it is awful.
Clubs (for joining), I hate all that club, clubby bullshit.
Contempory Dance.
Ballet, a good tune spoiled
The Beatles, I don't disagree with their importance in pop-history or their musical genius, but they don't do it for me.
John Lennon, too far up his own arse and far to hyped since his death.
Mozart.... there, said it.
Wagner (no, not that one, the feted composer).
Cats, can't abode the things.
Neil Diamond.
Going to the movies... a generally unpleasant experience.
Films, most are garbage.
Public Transport.
The Guardian (just to annoy ;-)

Don't know if I should like them, but I just can't!

Jazz - hate it with a passion - it's just a load of instruments being played loudly out of tune at the same time.

I must admit I don't like the random things, but you obviously aren't listening to the more sensible ones out there. I find it very relaxing and helps me to concentrate.
There are good things and then there is bad, just like everything else.

I love loads of opera - the music can be sublime.
Then they go and spoil it all with that contrived warble they call singing

They really should just shut up and let you listen to the music.

I agree, the singing can be ridiculous in it, but the music is good!

Football, WTF?

NOW WE ARE TALKING!!

How the F**k can one sport have such a huge draw for people, and what is the draw exactly??

Heavy Metal.

Anything that sounds like some hideous industrial accident, yes!

I'm not a fan of Jazz or Jazz singers but I do like most other music in small doses. However, Del's mention of Eartha Kitt reminds me of the time I saw her on stage in Perth (Australia) and the whole performance was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the heck is it with Jazz that is so unpopular?? I mean, it isn't all random you know.
