His first visit to the beach...he's run his legs off bless him.
6 months old and like all labs, he loves the water. He was absolutely drenched and covered in sand when we got back to the car, i'm glad i took a blanket.
He's been off the lead most of the time and while there's a few people on the beach, as soon as he saw them come close than say 20 yards his ears would prick up and he'd look like he was going to run to them, a quick 'jake' from us stopped him and he'd turn away. A good start to having him in public..
100 mile round trip for 1 hour on the beach with him :biggrin: but a lovely bright day. He's been spark out ever since

Tons of waders out there, loads of oystercatchers, red or greenshanks, many many small waders i couldnt ID, shoulda took my binoculars
Sorry the vids not that good, it was just done on a mobile phone.

He does look very happy, it's good for the soul seeing dogs enjoying themselves like that.

It takes ages for all the sand to come out of their coats though.

Wasn't there a car ad where the bloke rings up a taxi to take his dog back after a muddy walk?

Excellent, they love water Labs. Was that big waaaaahhhh, Jake jumping up with wet sandy paws.

Sand does take a while to come out. We walk on the beach everyday. The hoover is in regular use.
