Lucky sod!

I'd love to be able to do what he gets to do.

Would you? Would you really?

He's had to serve an apprenticeship with that prat Clarkson for years and years - no wonder he does programmes about drinking.

Was it James May Night on the TV tonight? He was on drinking beer with Oz Clarke, speaking bollocks with Clarkson and that wee fella, and visited the moon. Is he gonna be presenting Newsnight as well?

With all that beer he supped he probably thought he was on the moon. Bit like me and my Glenmorangie. :welcome:

Don't you think that James May would make a very good chat show host?

Let's face it, Ross is a tosser. James May would be able to talk intelligently and respectfully to a wide range of different people without dragging filth into it.

I think it's a really good idea, someone should tell the BBC :0)

Not into the wine thing though Top Gear is quite funny. No, I was thinking more about all the stuff he got to do for the Moon programme. The 70,000' flight in the U2 was amazing.

I'll be in Florida at the end of this week. The highlight for me will be a look around the launch site and museum at Cape Canaveral.

Well worth a look - really interesting and as a bonus there was a space shuttle take-off while I was in Florida
