HI Guys,

I am planning on doing a cylcing trip with a few freinds and want a real challenge!

Is it to ambitious or not ambitious enough to cycle JOGLE in 6 days

Any training ideas? best routes? Inspiration will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

We're doing 12 days and averaging 75 miles a day. To halve that time means double the distance which is a tall order. 150 miles a day on some days is fine but on the hillier stages is more than very tough.

Hi

I was part of a 7 day lejog last year. It is good to aim for a target and a 6 day trip is a good target to set yourselves. I think that you have to be very organised as you do not have much margin for error really, set yr route, work out where yr sleeping in advance etc. However much you train for it and no matter how good you are physically, I found the mental side of things is what really you really need to work on as cycling 100+ miles in one day is a good effort but its getting up and doing that for the duration of the trip day in day out is another. All the best to you and I am sure that you can achieve your goals
