I seem to remember we got John Lewis to price match a Kitchen Aid, within a couple of months the gearbox went, not only did they exchange it for a new one they let my wife choose a different colour as she had gone off her original choice!

I shop at local store, JL or M&S first and foremost for non-cycling stuff, then my LBS, Wiggle and Sigma for cycling stuff. If I cannot find what I'm looking for at any of those places at a price I like or in a time-frame I need, then I'll start looking further afield.
