This was held yesterday and the field was by invitation, all former top liners. It was great to see them all still riding and some of them doing remarkable times too. I am attaching a photo of The Flying Scotsman himself, Graeme Obree and his riding partner Yvonne McGregor who were happy to move to a better spot for me to take a photo of them.
It was a wonderful day of celebration of Johnny Helms and the event was run in great style by the Warrington Road Club. It was great to see all these great names all together in a fairly relaxed racing environment.
