Well, erm, hello everyone
New to cycling forums but not cycling exactly. From New Zealand originally but living in London for the forseeable future. Back home I was mainly a mountain biker (and proud of it) and always had a thing against 'roadies'. Then after being off the bike for a while (10yrs?) an irish mate of mine convinced me to buy a road bike and cycle up Alpe d'Huez to watch the Tour. That was 6yrs ago and now I am well and truly a 'Roadie'. Although I only did my first Sportive this year (Surrey 100) I have a few solo miles under my belt. I'm 40 in October and as a present to myself I plan on getting an entry onto next years Etape du Tour. As that's what I'm building to expect a lot of questions about training. Look forward to chatting....
