Of course egg white on a car panel chemically bonds with the clearcoat of the paint job, usually requiring a respray to remove the unsightly mess, so you wouldnt want to egg the car as a retaliation would you? Think of the expense.

On the way back to Rochdale with Svendo last weekend he was telling me he'd had a couple of full cans of coke thrown at him on one ride. I don't think they had the strength or range to hit him but the intention was still there, they weren't in a car though.

Driver and passenger then give you a kick in - and please don't spout any 'I'll hit them with my Abus D-lock' How are you gonna do that when they the driver has just rammed you and your bike?

It's tough nut to swallow but the OP should follow the other advice offered in this thread and that is to ride on and accept the sad fact that there are peanuts in this world who throw eggs at cyclists for no reason. And then probably go home and masturbate in their own faeces while looking at a poster of last years X Factor finalists.

Shaun, do you remember what kind of car it was? A pal and I got egged a few weeks ago coming out of the Robin Hood in Helmshore; it was a metallic blue Clio or Corsa. He even managed to get in his car and follow them and got the reg, though he would have no proof that it was the same car.
