just found my first love !

had to break in to the shed this morning as padlock frozen solid as i wanted a pr of wheels from my first true love a 1992 Marin Bear Valley . Just before the last time i used it about 2 yrs ago i swapped the original 26" wheels for some very narrow slick shod wheels that i wanted for a recently acquired Dawes Sardar frame set that i am intending to commute on once i can .

Seeing the olde Marin sitting there bought back some emotion and memorey's but the old girl needs a full overhaul and has been shed bound for to long , so next week will get it out and set about doing work required cause like all good bikes it deserves to be ridden

Can't beat the old Marins. Remember them well as I have a Diamond Back from the same era that I'm using in this weather. Tough old boots they are. Mine has some history now. Snowdon, Peak MTB rides, few crashes with cars.
