Just had an email read out on Radio Four

I was drawn into the tale of Mark Higgin's sextant delivered by the man himself. It was fascinating and I stopped everything to listen to his description of his ancient sextant that never left his side. I emailed Radio Four asking for regular episodes from his life at sea and it was read out!

A fleeting few seconds of smugness ensued.

Yes, there's obviously a sliding scale, Vern's up there with his Radio la-de-da email and my baked potato email is ever so slightly lower down.

Tuna, personally I'd think more of him if he'd have gone for the beans and cheese option but you've got to live your own life I guess.
