died today. I thought she was one of most underrated actors/actresses of the time.
In some ways she had a presence a bit like Christopher Walken and I always found her fascinating to watch. Although it seems as though she was always working until her illness she did not get those big money roles and was reduced to asking for money from fans to pay for treatment you in the UK would take for granted.
She did take the risky roles that higher paid Prima Donna's wouldn't, she had a small part physically in "Come back to the five and dime Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean" but she made the movie for me.
