We've had that system on a couple of cars in the past and I'd say it is one of the best options you can get. Doors open when you grab them, the car locks when you push a button on the handle, you can't lock your keys inside the car... it's just excellent.
The only downside might be driving somewhere with a passenger then getting out of the car to catch a train with the passenger driving your car back to the office, which is fine until they want to start the car again. Or, at least, I'd imagine that would be annoying, I'd never do something as silly as that. Especially not around Southall in 2008. No, definitely not, I wouldn't do that.
