A lad who was a couple of years younger than me I always remember, was cycling home from school and felt something hit his back. He told his mother, who didnt beleive him until he took his shirt off and right by his spine was a bleeding hole.
He went to A&E and they said for the caliber of air rifled the person had used to shoot him he was lucky it hadnt gone into his spine and done some more serious damage. No one was ever caught, but many of us know the area where it happened and the kids round there were all walking about with rifles.
