Kindle shopping in .com not .co.uk ??

HI, hope someone can help.

Had a Kindle for crimbo and have set it up using my details registered with Amazon. However, when I go to the shop, it is the .com site. Can this be changed at all?

I was registered also with the .com site as I have previously purchased stuff from here to have posted to an address in the US. This is what seems to have defaulted.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

On amazon's site, on the left hover your mouse over kindle and a pull out menu appears. Select the bottom one which is Manage my Kindle. Go to country settings. That might work.

Buy 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett/Neil Gamien before you switch. It's available on the .com site but not the .co.uk one, which really frustrates me as its my favourite book of all time!

Can't you just swap to Amazon.com and buy it then CC - assuming you use a Kindle?

Can you just not buy Good Omens in epub and convert it with calibre?

I've looked for it in different format and failed to find it. As for shopping to Amazon.com, wasn't aware this was possible - will look into it. Would be great if it was!

Loads more quality free titles available on .com, have a good look round before you change

My wife was given a Kindle Touch from chrimbo - not available in UK only in the US and has found she cannot purchase books on the kindle with a .co.uk account. She has to purchase on her laptop and it will then download to the Kindle Touch. We have tried to amend the account - but to no success.

It is available at the very least from random house as epub.
