KTM road bikes

Called in to my lbs this afternoon only to find out that they have started selling KTM bikes. Now I am fully aware of KTM as a motorcycle manufacturer but I did not know they made road bikes.

Does anyone have any experience of them?

Pretty well rated onthe grand scheme of things I believe. To me they were new in the Motorcycle world a few years back, now they are flying (I believe). Hopefully the same happens for them in the cycling world.

Guy has one at work, seems ok and as far as i know he has had no issues with it.

There seems to be such a plethora of cycle makes out there it must be difficult to decide. Interesting to read the bikeradar write up on the KTM posted by @Stu Plows . It does seem incredible that a three grand plus bike is "ripe for upgrading".

A shop near me was punting last years KTM bikes at a large discount recently and auctioning them off on Ebay so I take it they were not great sellers.
