So paid up for my trike today

Called the guy from wheel nv to let him know and to sort out delivery as my neighbour who normally sorts deliveries when I'm out is away on holiday for weeks.

Now he promised free delivery, which I thought was pretty good, envisioning a tnt van or the like trundling up in a couple of weeks time, but he said he will drive the trike down for delivery himself... To Wiltshire.... From Edinburgh... To set it up and check its all ok.

I hope the rest of the recumbent world is like this. It's freaking utopian.

Yes, I think that's the guy. A couple of people mentioned he was out Kent way, when I asked him about the move he said it was because he did other things than just sell recumbents.

Tbh, I can't blame him, if Mrs P hadn't just found her dream job here I would move to Scotland in a flash.

Yes it is good customer service, but the mark up on trikes can be as much 400-700%. So one can afford to drive down from 'burgh to do a fitting. Enjoy your trike.

Got my first recumbent accessory today. I had a panic when I realised I could no longer stuff my jersey pockets full of malt loaf and tuc biscuits for tucking into on audaxes. So I got myself a karrimor running bum bag in the sports direct unending must end soon sale. Wear it on my front, even easier to get to the grub now

Another happy customer here. I bought my used Bacchetta from him and Ian delivered it personally which, considering what I paid for the delivery, was somewhat unexpected, as he had to drive quite some distance.
