Ok, he's an ultra-athlete, he's been riding for 37 hours, climbing more than 6km on a fat bike but can't be 48.
I'm 48 and the only fat I have is the one I carry around

Presumably it wasn't 37 hours without stopping was it?

What an amazing feat though, he must be mega fit, and to only beat the previous record by 150m - I bet it took a lot out of him. I think I'd struggle for breath in the support car ...

He has to be extremely fit but it's the actual age that put me down. Was he younger (just a couple of years would be enough) I would think I am too old for that kind of venture, now I'm forced to get in a better shape. Damn....
