L.A. Confidential / Lance to Landis

I'm pretty sure it's just an update on LA Confidentiel which now includes Landis. It's interesting to see some of the personnel who appear now have other roles in cycling. Eg Prentice Steffen, the doctor who refused to start a doping regime at Motorola (as requested by...Tyler Hamilton) is now working for Slipstream/Garmin-Chipotle.
That steady escalation and 'we have to do this in order to compete' is all part of the self-deception that allows the likes of Landis/Hamilton et al to say 'I've done nothing wrong' and believe it.

There are many LA threads on cycling forums just now, and it is difficult sometimes to keep up and/or find something interesting. There are two replies on a bikeradar thread which I found might be worthy of repeating here. The one from 'forearms' and the one from Eurostar (where he copies the article):

Maybe not new, but still interesting....

and the reply after Eurostar's post is funny as well.

Interesting article on Ferrari. Usual defensive b*ll*cks being posted slagging off anyone who has arrived at a slightly jaundiced view of LA. He's not the Antichrist, he's just a very naughty boy...

edit - just read a bit further through the thread. I like Aurelio's post...:becool:
