It’s a long shot but haven’t found what I want elsewhere. I’m looking to buy a road/touring bike for my wife.

Here is the wish list

Size = Small
Style = Road
Gears = Compact chainset
Condition = Good or better.

Not wanted = MTB, Shopper, Brompton, Vintage or Triple chainset.

If you live in the Bristol and Bath area and have something that matches the specification then please get in touch. I will pay by cash on collection.

Many thanks for your quick response. The Marin is a nice looking bike but not what she wants.
The triple chainset is not for her either, too many gears, gets confused. I’m starting to think it‘s either a single speed or Di2…..

Giant (Liv) Avails are cracking bikes, most if not all with a compact double, maybe see what available. A small will fit a rider around 5'5-5'7 (if she's littler, then there's an XS too)

I think I have just the bike but I am in North Yorkshire :sad:

My wife who is 5 foot 4 inches has done about 50 miles on hers - 45 on a turbo and 5 miles on a dry road. It's in MINT condition. Compact chainset and even has cross brakes on the bars as she had little hands (bless) :laugh:.

I know you are far away but it's here if you are ever up this way!

Looks good. In laws live near Thirsk. Due to visit in a couple of weeks.
Promising.
Certainly not a no. I like the idea of cross brakes.
