I find if you shout load enough you never have to speak any other languages

I do though have a T shirt with this written on it:
ég tala ekki íslensku

Lol! As an Englishman abroad, I tend to cringe and pretend I'm not English when I see a compatriot shouting loudly and slowly at a local in English ...

English, German, French and Dutch.

I wonder if I can have a T-shirt made up with:
tlhIngan Hol vIjatlhbe'.
Might come in useful...
Would it be risky to have it in red?

You can do this with You Tube ... the challenge is to learn to count from 1 to 10 in as many languages as possible! (Not including English!)

I can do it in Latin, French and German and I've just learned 1-10 in Dutch, which is easy because it's so similar to German and English.

So that's four languages for me so far, What can you do?

That's you scuppered between ten o'clock and one o'clock when asking/telling the time in four languages.

English, German, French & Dutch for me too, without You Tube.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
"Egy, kettő, három, négy, öt, hat, hét, nyolc, kilenc, tíz."

I used to know that. The real trick with Magyar is known that it's not Mag-yar, it's modjr. Once upon a time I could probably complete yan, tan, tethera too.

I can certainly do French and German and could probably just about scrape together (classical) Greek and Latin with a bit of thought. Most other Western European languages are basically English, French, German or Latin with a funny accent.
